I don't have a Goldenwest Visa® card (or even an account for that matter). Can I design my card and apply online at the same time?
Yes, you can! Simply choose the appropriate 'Design & Apply for a Visa x Card' option and submit your card design and application. A Goldenwest Representative may contact you for additional information to get your card and account set up.

How much does it cost to personalize my card?
Members receive one FREE personalized card design within the card’s three year expiration period. If you wish to change the picture on your card again during this period, a $5 production fee will apply.

How long will it take to receive my card?
Once the new card design and/or services are approved, the typical delivery time is 5-7 business days.

Why am I getting an error message saying that my Visa cards do not qualify to be personalized?
Our Aggie Visa Debit and Credit cards cannot be personalized.

Will my new card have the same account number, expiration date, and PIN?
If you are personalizing a Visa Card, your card number and PIN will remain the same. However, the expiration date will change.

Will my account number, expiration date, and PIN change each time I change my design?
Once you've personalized your card, any future card requests will keep the same card number. The expiration date may change.

What happens if my card design is rejected?
You will be contacted by the credit union explaining that it is necessary for you to submit another card design and the reason why.

How often can I change my personalized card design?
You can change your card image as often as you like. The first personalized design is free, while any additional personalization will cost a $5 production charge.

Can I have one design for my Visa Debit Card and another for my Platinum?
Of course! You can have a different card design for each of the card types that you have. Please note the production charge for each card.

Can the joint owner of my account have a different card design?
Yes. The joint owner or authorized user of an account may have a different design for the same card type. Please note the production charge for each card.

My card looks and feels different, will merchants accept it?
Yes, your new un-embossed Visa card may look and feel different, but it is a valid card that can be used at any Visa merchant location with an electronic terminal.

How secure is the design website?
Our site is secured with 2,048-bit encryption and meets VeriSign (the security certificate authority) Extended Verification process to protect our members.

Viewing the minimum payment on your credit card
View additional account details by selecting an account in the left pane and then choosing the Account Details tab at the top of the right pane. Within “Account Details” you will be able to see the “Next Payment Amount Due” as well as the “Next Payment Date.”

Making a payment on your credit card
To make a payment on your credit card, follow these steps: In the online branch or the app on the dashboard view, scroll to the credit card and click "pay". Then select the account you want to make the payment from and select the payment amount, payment date, and frequency. Then click "Submit Transfer".

Viewing what rewards are available on your VISA Card with Extra Awards
To view rewards that are available on your Visa card with Extra Awards, follow these steps: Click the "More" widget on the left-hand side, then select "Goldenwest Extra Awards". Login using your Extra Awards credentials to view your points.
