Goldenwest Opens New Office in Kaysville
Goldenwest Federal Credit Union held a ribbon cutting for their newest branch today. Located at 131 West and 200 North in Kaysville, it is the 18th branch location for the 74 year-old credit union.
“We have received an incredible welcome from the residents in the Kaysville area,” said Shelley B. Clarke, Goldenwest President/CEO. “This new office allows us to better serve our members in Kaysville and the surrounding communities, and welcome new members to our credit union family.”
The event kicked-off with the award-winning Davis High School Marching Band. The 200+ person band marched from Davis High School to the Goldenwest Kaysville Branch. They performed a medley of songs, with a grand finale of the Goldenwest jingle “We’ll Take Care of You.”
Goldenwest Credit Union Board Members and Officers joined in celebration with credit union employees and members to officially open the new office. Also participating in the events were Kaysville City Mayor Steve Hiatt, Council Members Jared Taylor and Ally Isom, and Utah State Senator Stuart Adams. The Davis Chamber of Commerce, led my Jim Smith and the Lakesiders, helped welcome Goldenwest to the Kaysville area.
During the gathering, the flag pole was dedicated Goldenwest Board Member Jeanette Smyth. A granite monument placed at the base of the flag pole honors Smyth for her many years of service to the credit union.
Goldenwest will continue with grand opening events throughout the month of July. Credit union members and non-members are invited to visit the office for a tour July 1st-3rd, enter-to-win dozens of prizes and enjoy free hot dogs, popcorn and Pepsi.
The new office provides members will a full-range of services, including home equity loans, vehicle loans, free checking, mortgages, business services, four drive-through lanes, safe deposit boxes and a drive-up ATM. The Kaysville office is part of the Credit Union Services Centers “shared branching” network, allowing members from other participating credit unions to conduct transactions at the branch. There are 90 shared-branching locations throughout Utah.
