OGDEN, UT: March 13, 2014 – Goldenwest Credit Union has announced the completion of the operating system integration with recently merged USU Credit Union. The merger has placed Goldenwest among the largest financial institutions in northern Utah with a combined 26 branches, 100,000 members and $1 billion in assets.

OGDEN, UT: February 3, 2014 – Goldenwest Federal Credit Union recently released financial results for 2013. The comprehensive report includes the combined financial statements from both Goldenwest Credit Union and USU Credit Union. The two organizations officially merged on October 1, 2013.

WASHINGTON TERRACE, UTAH: December 12, 2013 – Goldenwest Credit Union has announced plans to expand its corporate campus by adding a second facility that will be located in Washington Terrace City. Goldenwest purchased the vacated building that originally housed the Family Fresh Foods grocery store at 5167 South Adams Avenue.

OGDEN, UT: December 9, 2013 – Goldenwest Credit Union will return $760,000 to members at the end of December in the form of a bonus dividend. The Board of Directors has declared a dividend of 4.35% Annual Percentage Yield (APY) on shares for the month of December 2013. The dividend is significantly higher than the 0.10% APY paid in recent months.

The 15th annual “Golden Tree” holiday giving campaign sponsored by Goldenwest Credit Union is underway. Members of the credit union and the community are invited to participate is this charitable tradition. As in past years, Goldenwest is sponsoring children from 25 different families referred to the credit union by Weber Human Services.
